My sessions are very casual and relaxed. Children will sometimes take a little time to warm up and that's perfectly fine. We will take our time and make sure everyone is feeling comfortable.
Location
I am an on location photographer. Your session will take place at the location of your choice – your home, your backyard, a local park,… If the session is taking place in your home, I will take a look around to find the best light. Because I photograph using natural light, finding the best light coming into the home is key. This may not be the room you expected and there is no need to worry if it's not as tidy as you would prefer! That is absolutely okay! I may even ask to move a piece of furniture to take full advantage of the light.
Clothing Choices
Be comfortable, be yourself! That is the most important part. Anything goes. Casual, dressy, a pretty dress or torn jeans - it’s really up to you. It all depends on your preferences and what kind of pictures you are looking for - a more elegant, classy look or something fun and trendy. Feel free to change outfits during the session for more variety.
